DECEMBER SPECIAL!

For information about Wegmans Shoppers Club, they are sponsored for the Family Night Saturdays at Bristol Mountain.  

Starts Saturday December 9th and ends Saturday March 10th.

A family of three can ski from 4 to 10 pm for only $60.00 with their Wegmans Shopper Club Card.  Additional family members are just $12.00 each.   Half price ski or snowboard rentals.

Free Beginner lessons at 5 pm.

Meet the deaf group at Sunset Lodge at 3 pm before buying the lift tickets at 4pm.

Date: January 9-12, 2007 (3 nights from Tuesday to Thursday)

Welcome to your first lovely white winter midweek trip to Gore Mountain Ski Area! The reason I choose midweek is because it's less crowded so you can get to the top of mountain & ski more offen and also cheaper lift ticket, hotel, etc. If you want 1 or 2 nights stay and/or weekend, it's up to you. All this will make for a great time together. Let's pray for good weather and a lot of snow!

Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding:

RATES: As an Access Pass (click here) holder, you will ski for free all day. You'll have to pay for rentals, lessons, etc. Otherwise, please visit website,   http://goremountain.com/tickets/rates.htm for the rates. (See Ski Trips)

Cross Country & Snowshoeing: (Click here)

Gore Mountain have 12 trails, call 518-251-2411 for more details.

For Rentals:

I recommend going to Beaver Brook Outfitters on Route 28 in Wevertown, at 518-251-3394 or 888-454-8433. Equipment is good quality, in good condition and cheaper. It's approximately 5 miles to Gore Mt. Ski Area.

Snow tubing at North Creek Ski Bowl: (About 1 mile from Gore Mt. Ski Area)

Midweek - 3:30pm to 9pm; Weekend - 11am to 9pm, Call 518-251-2411
$16. per person for 2 hours limit; Group of 20 people or more - $12. per person for 2 hours limit; From 8pm to 9pm (last hour only) - $10. per person.

Required 36" tall & up.  *ACCESS PASS ARE NOT INCLUDE*

1. Summit at Gore Mt. (2 minutes to Gore Mt. Ski Area):

Any 3 Nights Stay Rates (non-holidays):

  • 8 people in 3 bedrooms for 3 nights - $900. plus tax (one night free) per group of 8 people ($999. includes tax).
  • 6 people in 2 bedrooms for 3 nights - $800. plus tax (one night free) per group of 6 people ($888. includes tax).
  • 2 people in 1 bedroom for 3 nights - $600. plus tax (one night free) for 2 people ($666. includes tax).

Includes kitchen! 3 bdrms have 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 bathrooms; 2 bdrms have 1 1/2 to 2 bathrooms; & 1 bdrm has 1 or 1 1/2 bathrooms. You have to call to request how many bathrooms you want if they've available - call quickly.

2. Valhaus Motel  (2 minutes to Gore Mt. Ski Area):

  • Midweek Rates: $65. to $75. for 2 persons per room per night (3rd person & up - add $10. per person)
  • Weekend Rates: $75. to $90. for 2 persons per room per night (3rd person & up - add $10. per person)

The two places above are cheaper and very closer to Gore Mt. ski area. There are a lot of motels/hotels nearby Gore Mt. Ski Area, visit website: www.goremountain.com , click packages & lodging, then click any on the lists you wish.

Kids under 5 always ski free.

Saranac Lake is the site of one of the oldest Winter   Carnivals in the country complete with an Ice Palace. Winter Carnival 2006 is scheduled for February 2006.

Stratton Mountain Resort: "No.1 Terrain Parks in the East... 8 years running" - located in southern Vermont, in Bondville a small town.  Stratton - Mountain

Lodging: The Inn at the Stratton Mountain:

Offers a Ski and Stay package for a group of 20 or more people.  All we need is to reserve 10 or more rooms.

Two nights and two-day lift tickets including tax and fee:

   * Double occupancy: $232.80 / person
   * Triple occupancy: $201.20 / person
   * Quad occupancy: $185.40 / person

For children under 12 with two adults per room:

    * Free ($75 for two day tickets)

For non-skiers/non-riders including tax and fee:
